MISSION

 

The core purpose of Hazcom-DGR (Pty) Ltd is to provide a reliable, accurate and credible compliance service to both prospective and existing clients. Our business is "Compliance" with all relevant National Legislation, SABS National Standards and Local Authority By-Laws that serve to regulate the transportation, storage, and handling of "Dangerous Goods", which are listed in SANS 10228: 2012 - The Identification and Classification of dangerous goods for transport by road or rail modes.

 

Our mission is to deliver the following outputs -

 

• To exceed our valued customers' expectations in achieving legal compliance in all respects of their daily business activities,

• To set strong foundations for building maximum safety of workers in the dangerous goods industry and those affected by their activities,

• To deliver exceptional value to our customers by providing them with the most reliable, accurate, cost-effective and efficient solutions through services and products that constantly exceed and outperform all Dangerous Goods Industry standards and norms,

• To seek to lead the Industry by instilling pride in all our staff, creating value for all stakeholders and to share responsibility for achieving a safer road network and more efficient transport and distribution industry for all.

The Aims supporting our Mission focus on efficient transfer of goods, knowledge and services, providing maximum customer satisfaction and behaving responsibly and ethically. To achieve these aims we have established objectives at a number of levels. These "SMART" objectives are designed to ensure that everyone understands what is required and by when. They make it easy to monitor and measure our performance. Where necessary, we can change our plans to overcome any problems or obstacles that are encountered on our path to excellence. By being "SMART" the following objectives are met -

 

Specific             To know at all times exactly what is required to exceed the

                               minimum requirements for quality, value and legal compliance;

 

Measurable       To measure our success and the quality of our services by

                              comparing our output and products with "best practices";

 

Attainable         To ensure that we have the best knowledge and resources to

By contributing to a better, safer dangerous goods transport and distribution industry, we automatically contribute to a reduction in the environmental impact made by the industry as a whole. More efficient and safer movement of dangerous goods equals reduced risks and hazards for all involved.
